At Binding Ties, we take the stress out of the process. Our design team handles the technical and creative details—making sure each image is thoughtfully placed and each spread flows naturally. We tweak images where needed and ensure the overall aesthetic enhances your story.

This isn’t just about convenience. It’s about crafting something lasting and beautiful—a photobook that feels intentional, emotional, and uniquely you. Our goal is to make your memories shine in print.

Once the order is placed, we will get on a call to discuss what aesthetic you would like for the photobook. We will then present options to choose that we think would match well with your requirements. Once you are satisfied with the design, we will begin the work on it.

How long will it take for me to receive my custom-designed photobook ?

Once your order is placed and we’ve received all your photos and text, we’ll schedule a call to understand the look, feel, and story you would like your photobook to tell. Based on your vision and the number of photos, we will recommend the ideal number of pages and provide a detailed quote.

After you approve the quote and complete the balance payment, we will begin the design process—carefully crafting each page to bring your memories to life.

Designing, reviewing, and making any necessary changes typically takes around 15 business days. Once you approve the final version, your photobook will be printed and shipped within 8 business days.

In total, you can expect to receive your printed photobook within approximately 3 weeks from the time we receive your images—depending on how quickly approvals are given and barring any unforeseen delays.

What quality should my photos be?

Most photos today are taken on mobile phones—and that’s perfectly fine. What matters most is that the images are clear, well-lit, and good resolution. The quality of your photobook is directly linked to the quality of your photos, and we’ll always work with what you provide to create the best possible result.

If you are using scanned images, please scan them at 300dpi for optimal print clarity.

Whether your photos are from a phone or a professional camera, just make sure they’re sharp and well-lit. A photobook is only as strong as the memories inside it—so the better the photos, the more stunning your photobook will be.

Do you retouch or alter my photos ?

We do not retouch photos in the traditional sense (like removing blemishes or heavy editing), but we may make subtle adjustments—such as brightening, contrast, or tone—to enhance the overall feel of the photobook.

With your approval, we might also convert certain photos to black & white or sepia where it adds emotional depth or supports the story you are telling.

Our goal is to stay true to your images while making them shine within the context of the photobook.

Can I have captions or notes in my photobook ?

Absolutely! We believe that words give context to memories, and captions can make your photobook even more beautiful and meaningful. Whether it’s a name, a date, or a short story behind the moment, these small notes add a personal touch that brings each photo to life.

To ensure we design your photobook thoughtfully, we ask that all captions be shared before we begin the design process, as they play an important role in how we plan the layout and storytelling.
